Apple released MacOS Sequoia 15.5, Watchos 11.5, TVOS 18.5, and Homepod Software 18.5

Apple today released MacOS Sequoia 15.5, Watchos 11.5, TVOS 18.5, and Homepod Software 18.5 for the public.

In our testing of this release, we do not identify changes that specifically affect experiences for blind, deaf, or low vision users. If you see a change in the use of this release itself, please tell us by posting comments.

Watchos 11.5

This update includes new features, repair, and bug repair, including:

• Buy with Apple Watch is available when buying content in the Apple TV application on the 3rd party device
• Resolving problems that can prevent your iPhone from showing notification when the watch battery is fully charged

TVOS 18.5

This update adds support to synchronize the playback of Dolby ATMOS to the upper Speaker Airplay or Bluetooth. For use, open Settings> Video and Audio> Nyrkabel Audio Synchronization.

Homepod software 18.5

This update includes improving performance and stability.

How to update

To install MacOS Sequoia 15.5, select the system settings from the Apple menu, select General in the table, click the update software in the scroll area, and click the update button now to start the update process. If other updates are available, you can click the Info button to see details about them and select special updates to be installed.

Watchos 11.5 Available through Over-The-Water Update (Settings> General> Software Update) or by going to the Watch application on your iPhone and navigating to the public> software updates. To install an update, your watch must be connected to the charger and has at least 50% battery power.

To install TVOS 18.5, on Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD, open the settings channel, then look for a part of the system near the bottom. From here, look for software updates under maintenance, then select the software update and download and install. Wait for your Apple TV to download updates. Don’t remove or unplug your Apple TV until the update is complete.

By default, homepods and mini homepods automatically install new software updates, but you can manually check updates on your home application on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
